KEEPING A LIFE MANAGEMENT JOURNAL

"Know thy self and be completely honest with yourself."

Have you got a perfect memory that records every important detail about your life?

If, like the vast majority of us, you do not, then It is of the utmost importance to keep an updated life management journal/diary in which you can make a note of all the issues that are important to you, our discoveries about yourself, and the ways in which you attempt to solve your problems and understand yourself.

A life management diary helps us to:

  1. Stop repeating ourselves.

  2. Stop unnecessarily going over old ground.

  3. Focus on our problems, issues, and solutions.

  4. Finish with the past.

  5. Keep a track of our life.

  6. Not use others as unpaid counselors or psychologists. It can be very unfair to constantly use others as an audience for our problems and confusions.

  7. Act as our own psychologist.

  8. Accurately monitor our progress.

 

Importance of Regular Life Reviews.

Set up regular life reviews for yourself. You could do this every week or month. Within this time, you can run through each center and assess the state of your life relating to each center.

Questions you should ask yourself may include:

  1. How is it all going?

  2. What is the health and state of each area (chakra) of my life?

  3. What have I learned so far?

  4. What negative habits can I remove from myself?

  5. Where am I failing?

  6. Where am I succeeding?

  7. What are my strengths and weaknesses?

  8. What improvements can I make to each area of my life?

Use the seven center system to help you map out and assess your life.
